Melanee Ward, PTA
Melanee grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah where she attended PTA school at Salt Lake Community College and later received a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from the University of Memphis. After graduation, she began working as a PTA at The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital on the hip and knee specialty team for nearly 3 years. During that time, she had the opportunity to work with major league soccer players, professional rugby players, collegiate athletes, competitive runners, and U.S. Ski and Snowboard team members. While Melanee does have a passion for working with athletes of all ability levels, she also loves working with pediatric and geriatric populations. She specializes in ACL/meniscus repairs, hip impingement, hip dysplasia, and general overuse injuries. Melanee believes in a holistic approach to physical therapy, recognizing the importance of physical health and mental health as a unit.
In her free time outside of the clinic, Melanee loves to spend time with her husband, her dog Nova, and extended family. She and her husband enjoy being outdoors and visiting the national parks.
Her favorite activities include long distance running, hiking, backpacking, pickleball, camping, and fishing.
