Emily Adelson, DPT
Physical Therapist
Emily graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in Anthropology and Public Health, and continued her studies at Washington University in St. Louis to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. It was at Washington University that Emily developed a passion for human movement, where she studied the Movement System Impairments approach as taught by Shirley Sahrmann, PT PhD, FAPTA. Emily is interested in identifying the biomechanical faults that cause injury, and incorporates movement education to help patients achieve maximum recovery.
Whatever the diagnosis, Emily is committed to returning patients to their prior level of function. She is an advocate for wellness and enjoys helping her patients reach their goals.
Outside of the clinic, Emily enjoys training for endurance events including marathons and triathlons. She is excited to be in Seattle and explore the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
